It feels so damn good to be back on a desktop. If I only had a laptop, I'd definitely go crazy. My desktop is finally rebuilt and respectable.

Next on my checklist are 7.1 surround speakers, a DVD burner, another GB of RAM, and some SATA HDs.

sweet set up... i'd love to run 2 6800's in sli.... i'm running an radeon 9800 pro 256... but I don't think it's SLI compatable....

7.1 speakers might be overkill for a PC setup... I dunno, doesn't seem like it would really make that much of a difference, but I guess it depends on your desk setup. My 5.1 system rules right now... I don't have room for any more speakers on my desk... there are too many damn toys

That's a good point, man. 5.1 would probably do just fine for a bedroom.

I was rocking the Radeon 9600 until I got this new 6800GT. I can't wait to test it out. I went out of town right after I go this sucker rebuilt and I can't wait to put to the test.
