This is something of a companion piece for The Lonely Visitor that I did a while back. That particular piece has remained my personal favorite not only for it's aesthetic appeal but also for the emotion that went into it. Symbiosis is the next step in my life. I think it is abstract enough for everyone to enjoy in their own way.
No matter what happens, don't forget to grow.
notes: The original, working image weighs in at 11" x 17". It has been considerably compressed for the sake of the web so you will notice some artifacts, particularly in the dark portions of the sky. Those used to be lines. Just buy the print and you'll see. Also, the kanji you see in the background is for 'harmony'.
Interesting blend of images.
Not too sure about the sky in the background though, something about it doesn't seem right.
But what I like is how you've unified the elements with that strip of paper/stone texture behind.
And what do those chinese characters mean?
Thanks a lot for your comments. I'm really glad you like the image.
As the description notes, the sky is highly compressed as the original image is 11" x 17" 300dpi so there are noticable artifacts. Perhaps this isn't what you're referencing but just thought I'd mention it.
